I spent ten years working at Disney, and I've been there thousands of times — with family, loved ones, friends, and coworkers. What I learned is that the magic was never really about the castle or any single attraction, as amazing as those are. It was about the joy we created together, and how it looked different depending on who was there. With my dad and brothers, it was racing to be first in line for every rollercoaster. With my mom, dad, and little brother, it was the twenty minutes Mickey Mouse spent hanging out with just us. We marked milestones there, too — Bob's 80th and Luis' 70th birthdays — and just recently I had the privilege of being there for my great-niece and great-nephew, River and Ryder, on their very first trip to Disney, watching that magic land for a whole new generation. But the memories that stuck most were the quiet ones — sitting with ice cream trading stories from the day, or riding the monorail around and around just because we didn't want the moment to end. Cruising became my favorite way to create those moments on a bigger stage. When I moved from Florida to New York, I gave my parents a Royal Caribbean cruise for their anniversary and talked my aunt, uncle, and grandparents into coming along — and they've been cruising ever since. Sometimes it was 12 of us; on my grandfather's 75th birthday, it was 75 of us sailing together. Cruises are how my family built a lifetime of memories — and travel of every kind keeps building bridges. I took my parents to Norway to reconnect with our extended family, flying over and then journeying across the countryside with unforgettable stays along the way. They're woven into my own story, too. My husband Paul and I took our very first trip together aboard Disney Cruise Line when we met in 2000, and we celebrated our wedding and honeymoon on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Alaska. This past winter, a longtime wish came true: our first river cruise, aboard Viking along the Danube, wandering the Christmas Markets of Budapest, Bratislava, Austria, and Germany, with land excursions to Ceský Krumlov and Prague — all to celebrate our dear friend Maggie's 75th birthday. That's my purpose as a Vacation Consultant: to help you create and share that same joy. It's why I built my Sharing Joyful Journeys community, and it's the heart of everything I do. I love helping anyone who feels the pressure of making a vacation the best it can possibly be — because that pressure is real. But once we figure out what matters most to your group, and what each person will remember long after they're home, the rest gets easy. Air, land, or sea, I'll take the planning off your plate so you can focus on the fun. Let's talk. Tell me what a perfect trip looks like for you, and I'll help make it happen.
