My husband and I moved to Canada from Slovakia (Eastern Europe) in 2002. Despite the fact I practised law back in Europe, my life turned upside down with the arrival of our four children and I decided to dedicate my life to teaching. I completed my Bachelor of Education degree in London at Western University and started teaching in 2010. All my life I loved exploring new places and learning the ways other communities live. Even though our travel was limited during the communist regime, I was able to do some travelling in Europe during my young adult years, visiting places in Germany, France, Greece, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy. After we moved to North America, I loved exploring this beautiful continent and visited many interesting destinations in Canada, US and Caribbean. My husband and I (and our now adult children) love RV camping. We have travelled to many beautiful places in Canada and the US with our “home on wheels”. In addition to camping, we have also started to cruise. After a cruise in Alaska, we booked a few in the Caribbean and enjoyed this less demanding way of travel. Every place is different and offers a unique perspective and a framework for my own life experiences. The beauty of our world and the diversity that one experiences while travelling fascinates me and makes my life rich and satisfying. Through my jobs, schooling and personal life, I have always had a love for travel and have been lucky enough to go on some great trips – be it backpacking, all inclusive package holidays, camping, and cruising. Now I am ready to share my experiences with others and make sure they have a chance to fulfill their travel dreams.
