Our love of cruising started on an Alaskan cruise with Holland America Line in 2007. The ports were amazing, we loved the Alaskan King Crab cooked fresh on the dock in Juneau, the White Pass Railway train was a definite highlight. We were truly sold on cruising on that trip when we won a Caribbean Cruise while on board. Since that first cruise, we have returned to Alaska numerous times. In addition to cruising the Mexican coast, both the Eastern and Western Caribbean and an amazing Panama Canal trip, we have plans to cruise to see the fall colours in New England and trips planned for retirement to Europe. In addition to our cruise trips, Keith and I raised three boys doing road trips with them each year. We’ve helicoptered the Grand Canyon, white water rafted down the Yellowstone River, we took the Amtrak Coast starlight train from Seattle to Los Angeles to attend the Rose Bowl Parade in person. We spent 3 weeks in a rental RV traveling through the Maritimes and went lobster fishing in Lunenberg Nova Scotia Our road trips have taken us across North America in both Canada and the United States several times. We’ve had a mint julep at Churchills Downs in Louisville Kentucky, award winning BBQ in both Nashville and Memphis, enjoyed live music on Beale Street, toured Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, and Custer National Park. At each stop of our travels over the years, we have collected a key chain. Below is a photo of our souvenirs to date. As our semi-retirement looms, we look forward to many more adventures by land, sea, and air.
