That’s where I come in. My name is Cynthia (Cyndi) Joudrey and I’m an ardent traveler and independent Vacation Consultant with Expedia Cruises in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. I can virtually assist travel-loving clients who live anywhere in Canada arrange all types of trips (NOT just cruises). A bit more about me personally… I’ve lived in Quispamsis for over 25 years with my husband and now adult children. I like to say I’ve been in the hospitality industry since I was 4 years old. That’s because I grew up on a small family farm in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia and my family started participating in “Farm & Country Vacations” when I was 4. As a result, I got to meet and help host visitors from all over the world all through my childhood and teen years.

At the age of 18, I was off to France as an exchange student, living in the gorgeous city of Annecy in the French Alps. At the end of the school year, I backpacked around Europe with my sister before returning home for university. (Keep in mind this was in the “olden days” when we had no internet or cell phones, so making travel plans was far more challenging!)

Since then, I’ve travelled extensively in Canada, the U.S. (including Hawaii & Alaska), Mexico (10+ times), the Caribbean, and France. Some of my favourite trips include Istanbul, Peru, Iguazu Falls, the Grand Canyon, and Rio de Janeiro. My personal travel bucket list is a lengthy one and includes Japan, New Zealand, Patagonia, Victoria Falls, and every European river cruise itinerary.

Being a travel agent is a passion project for me… from 2002-2011, I worked for RCI (the world’s largest timeshare exchange company) as Internal Marketing Coordinator for the Saint John center and later as Communications Manager for all North America call centers. I worked directly with resort representatives, organized employee reward & recognition trips and global exchange programs, and planned countless special events… so I know a lot about travel and getting groups of people successfully from point A to B.
