Hello, Welcome to all who love travel! About me: I ventured to my second career in travel in 2015 after many years working in the Calgary oil industry. I had already started taking on-line courses, working towards the Travel Consultant certificate. With my love of travel, I had been thinking of travel sales as a second career for some time.
As a single, with a partner, with friends and with family, I have traveled to many places. There are several places that I truly loved, and have returned or will return. But in all honesty, I can't think of any that I truly didn't like. Travel is the one hobby/pastime that always educates/entertains/enlightens/relaxes/ etc (you fill in the words for your experience).
I have cruised many times, have traveled to land destinations, and have been part of a "crew" of 4 cruising a small boat on the canals in southern France. Here are some of the places I've been:
Europe - many times, both cruising (Med both eastern and western and Baltic/Scandinavia) and land
UK - many times - land
The Caribbean - many times, both cruising and land
US - Alaska cruise, to the south/Gulf Coast, east coast, west coast, Hawaii
Canada - as far east as PEI
Southern Africa
Middle East (Israel and Egypt)
New Zealand

Favorite Sun destinations: Maui, Sint Maarten, Greek Islands, San Diego, Phoenix
Need to go Back destinations: Southern Africa, Tampa (beautiful!), Savannah
Need to Visit destinations: Portugal, Scotland, Eastern Europe, Australia
