A few months ago my cruise itinerary was rerouted from going through the Suez Canal to going around Africa. This posed the question of whether we could fit an overland safari in Africa into the cruise plan. Internet and phone are very limited on the ship, so I provided what we were looking for to Keely and asked her to research it. The quality of wildlife sitings, connecting travel between the ship and the game lodge and maximizing time at the reserve were important factors. Keely sorted through multiple proposals and offered us the best options. She ensured that even when the game reserve and the travel proposal did not agree that we got everything in the proposal.
