February 2013, I decided it was time for a major vacation. Kim DUMOUCHEL is a great neighbour so I spoke to her. I decided a Rhine River cruise was perfect. She invited me to an event where a rep from AmaWaterways spoke. At the end of the meeting I had decided this is what I wanted in 2013. I was “deflated” when the rep told us that their cruises where sold out well in advance and I should look at 2014. Kim called me the next morning advised there was one stateroom left on the cruise I wanted and around the same time of year. Long story short, over the next months we both learned much as this was my first Europe trip. The cruise was booked, extra hotels where booked, air was booked, rail travel in Europe was booked, additional tours where looked after. The entire trip was a dream! Not one thing went wrong or was below the high standard I had hoped for. AmaWaterways, are outstanding and I highly recommend them . Upon my return home I sent a Christmas card and a letter I enclosed with all my Christmas cards to friends and family, to AmaWaterways. A few days later a wonderful gift basket arrived at my home from them. In the New Year I plan to start planning my Danube River Cruise with Kim. Kim not only has a good knowledge of the industry but takes everything very personal and ensures all details are perfect. Thank you Kim and Expedia !!
