Thank You Lynn and Greg for walking us "cruise newbies" through the whole process of booking and preparing for our first cruise. You guys really showed the value of personal and professional travel agents. Your advice, suggestions, and organization greatly facilitated a fabulous experience for the two of us. The Alaska Cruise on Celebrity Solstice was beyond expectations from life on the ship to the Shore Excursions booked. I caught over 20 fish and had a one to one memorable adventure with my guide. Renting the jeep in Skagway was the best idea as we thoroughly enjoyed the drive to Emerald Lake at our own pace. We can't say enough about the tremendous staff, food, organization on the Solstice. The only down side was the horrible experience of the Quik Shuttle bus from Seattle back to Vancouver. I know this has nothing to do with Expedia or Celebrity but nevertheless, I should pass on my comments. The driver was obnoxious, flippant, and very adversarial to some of the passengers. One could not get a straight answer from him as he thought he was his funny with his vague responses to people. The worst part was that he did not empty his sani-tank before the trip and the entire bus reeked of septic and urine. Most people had to cover their faces from Seattle to Vancouver in order to breathe. I felt especially bad for the elderly who were on the verge of getting ill and nauseous. The driver blamed it on passengers who did not put the seat down but since I ride on busses frequently with football players, I know that this does not happen regularly. Many people were saying what a sad way to end such a fabulous experience on Celebrity Solstice. That aside, thanks again for an experience we will talk about here and in Argentina for many years to come! Darryl
